I'd also like to thank the "Blue Dog" Democrats; liberals with a bit of sense. Old-school liberals, I've always called you; ones who realize that the haughty, high-handed, self-important Bolsheviks in office now have completely lost it.

Nancy Pelosi - Freedom Of Speech "Un-American", Apparently

Nazi, err...Nancy Pelosi, is the epitome of ironic idiocy. When duly concerned American citizens spoke out against the shoddy, broken healthcare reform bill, a clear exhibition of free speech, Nancy Pelosi referred to the dissenters as "Un-American".

Ho hum. I don't even think Democrats care what the hell Nancy Pelosi thinks or says anymore, much less a bunch of Americans that are genuinely interested in how their futures may (or may not) pan out in the long run.

We believe it is healthy for such a historic effort to be subject to so much scrutiny and debate," Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Hoyer (D-Md.) wrote in a USA Today opinion piece published today.

Riiiight. These are the same people that would accuse you of being a Nazi or racist if you dared speak against anything the Holy One attempted to put into action.

"However, it is now evident that an ugly campaign is underway not merely to misrepresent the health insurance reform legislation, but to disrupt public meetings and prevent members of Congress and constituents from conducting a civil dialogue," the two leaders wrote. "These disruptions are occurring because opponents are afraid not just of differing views -- but of the facts themselves. Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American."

Nothing but classic double-talk from everyone's favorite Speaker Of The House. In case you haven't noticed, Pelosi, there is no such thing as "civil dialogue" in your current administration, which is one reason these people are so pissed off. As for the facts, the administration has barely even presented facts in a cogent fashion. Until then, people have every damned right to be mad, and mad they are. I won't even begin to go into your little comment concerning "opposing views being Un-American", you fascist witch.

Pelosi and Hoyer, calling the enactment of health insurance reform "a defining moment in our nation's history," point to plans that have passed through three House committees. Based on this work, they say, they will "produce one strong piece of legislation that the House will approve in September.

Pelosi is right, this truly is a "defining moment in history". When any dissenters are referred to Un-American Nazis, we've delved into a form of government tyranny the likes never seen before. We've never been misinformed and downright lied to as we've been lately. The health plan includes the coverage of illegal aliens, not that they didn't have gold-plated medical care already.

You're right, Pelosi. This is truly a defining moment in American history.

While most of you are still worried about some drugged up kiddy fiddler dying, the Democrats are getting away with one of the greatest crimes in America's history; Cap and Trade.

Sure, I've written about it before, but I don't think you realize the extent of what's going on here.

For years, the pseudoscientists in your very own government have had you under the impression that the planet is heating up - killing penguins, polar bears, Antarctic flies, fleas, Michael Jackson, etc. Despite incontrovertible evidence to the contrary, these same "scientists" refuse to accept or even listen to any sort of dissenting opinion. Some transparency, eh?

That's just the start of it. Every single life form that we know of requires CO2 to live, and man happens to contribute very little to excess CO2 in the atmosphere. Cow's and other barnyard animals farting contributes more to excess CO2 than any other. Do we place a tax on pigs and cows? Look it up; don't think it won't happen.

Obama wants you to think that he cares about the environment and "pollution" and is only taxing those responsible. Little do most people realize - everyone responsible means almost every citizen of the United States. Remember that little ole campaign promise that he wouldn't raise taxes on middle-income Americans? Well, that's double-speak as usual; he just plans on taxing eevrything those people own and buy.

For starters, EVERYONE'S energy bills will increase. Not much is known whether or not middle or low income earners will be given a break, you probably will as long as you're not a straight white conservative. Some sources claim as little as a few dollars; others claim that your bill could increase three-fold. Think that's all? What about all the industries that rely on, well...energy? You know - all of 'em. Look forward to almost everything that you buy, from fresh produce to manufactured products, to increase.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - To fairly divide the climate change fight between rich and poor, a new study suggests basing targets for emission cuts on the number of wealthy people, who are also the biggest greenhouse gas emitters, in a country.

Since about half the planet's climate-warming emissions come from less than a billion of its people, it makes sense to follow these rich folks when setting national targets to cut carbon dioxide emissions, the authors wrote on Monday in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Rich people, you mean those pesky taxpayers? You mean the top 10% of the population that accounts for almost 95% of the taxes? Those greedy businessmen that employ the majority of the country's workforce? Shame on those dedicated schmucks who prove themselves by working from the bottom up! And don't even think about entrepeneuralism, my friend; we don't need any more jobs or capital!

What I find funny is how will this affect our very favorite dictators, eh? Too bad it might cost your Senator a few extra bucks for his limo to cruise down Main St. for a hooker. Nancy Pelosi is S.O.L., I wonder if she plans on canceling all her future flights on Air Force 1; the jet she DEMANDS to take on a whim for any outing she pleases? I wonder what Michelle's carbon footprint is after she went on a tour of Paris, or when the Obamas decide to go on some private outing instead of actually, you know, doing stuff in the White House.
